Privacy Policy

FormulaBook is built to hold sensitive client information — color formulas, photos, contact notes. Here's exactly how we handle it: we don't.

Everything stays on your device

Every client, formula, photo, and note you enter is stored locally on your iPhone. FormulaBook has no server. We never receive, see, or store your data — not in transit, not at rest, not ever.

No accounts

There's no sign-up, login, or profile. FormulaBook doesn't ask for your name, email, or phone number to function.

No analytics, no tracking

FormulaBook does not include analytics SDKs, crash reporters that phone home, or any third-party tracking. We don't know how you use the app, and we don't want to.

No ads

FormulaBook has never shown an ad and never will. There is nothing to target, because there is no data leaving your device.

Purchases

The one-time unlock is processed entirely by Apple through the App Store. We never see your payment details. Apple's own privacy policy governs that transaction.

Backup & export

Local backups are stored on your device (and, if you enable it, your own iCloud account via Apple's standard device backup — we don't run our own backup servers). You can export your full client book as a PDF or CSV, or AirDrop it directly to another device, at any time.

Children's privacy

FormulaBook is not directed at children and does not knowingly collect any information from anyone, of any age — it doesn't collect information at all.

Changes to this policy

If this policy changes, we'll update the effective date above and post the new version here.
