The short version: BoardCalc doesn't collect your data because it doesn't have anywhere to send it. There's no server, no account, no analytics, and no ads. Everything you enter — species prices, projects, piece lists — stays on your device.
Nothing. BoardCalc has no backend. We never see your species prices, project names, piece lists, or measurements. There is no sign-up, so we don't have your name, email, or any other identifier tied to your use of the app.
On your device, in local storage. If you use iCloud backup, your BoardCalc data is included in that backup like any other app data on your phone — that's between you and Apple, and it's why your projects survive a phone upgrade. We have no access to it.
None. BoardCalc doesn't use analytics SDKs, crash reporters that phone home, or any third-party tracking. No advertising identifiers are read or shared.
The one-time unlock is handled entirely by Apple through StoreKit. We never see your payment details — Apple processes the transaction and BoardCalc simply checks entitlement status on your device.
You can export your project lists at any time directly from the app. Deleting the app deletes its local data (outside of any iCloud backup you've made, which you control from your device's Settings).
BoardCalc is a general-purpose calculator tool not directed at children and does not knowingly collect information from anyone, of any age — because it doesn't collect information at all.
If this policy changes, we'll update the effective date above and post the revised version at this address.
